Save Equus is a not-for profit organisation run by volunteers. It has a management committee that oversees its operation. By becoming a member, you can show your support for the care and protection of horses. There are many ways a member can become involved:

• Join the management committee
• Become a foster carer
• Donate goods and or services
• Donate dollars
• Adopt a rescued horse

All members receive a membership kit and regular updates on current horse rehabilitation projects.

Save Equus members help direct and support the functions of the organisation and most importantly collectively demonstrate how much interest and concern there is for horse welfare and rescue.

Animal cruelty affects us all and impacts the quality of the community in which we live. Horses in particular are vulnerable to neglect and abuse by people.

All members must agree with the principle of the organisation:

“To promote and facilitate the humane treatment of equine animals”
