About Antje (better known to her friends as Annie)
Originally from Germany, Annie emigrated with her husband and children to Australia in 1996. She has truly embraced the Australian lifestyle and, in her words, is strongly drawn to the power of Australian Nature and all our animals. She shares the philosophy with Scott Alexander King, who is an animalist, and is inspired by his respect and connection with the animal world and our own inner strength. Annie likes the holistic approach towards life, respecting and believing in the spiritual role of horses and all animals is part of it.
Annie was a late starter with horses. She has always loved them but was not able to own a horse in Europe, however in 2004 she bought her first horse, ‘White Brave’, a coloured quarter horse and there began her journey into horsemanship. Soon after she bought another horse called ‘Clydee’, a Clydesdale-cross Thoroughbred.
