The Management Committee is accountable to the organisation’s membership wholly. In principle the Management Committee has wider responsibilities to the general public, welfare sector and equine sector and the Government of Western Australia. Such wider responsibilities are related to compliance with the Associations and Incorporations Act as a not-for-profit-organisation and when appropriate the Animal Welfare Act 2002 and associated Regulations.

The Save Equus Management Committee is responsible to the Organisations membership to operate ethically and prudently and within the legislative parameters of Western Australia and where appropriate Australia.
